Cress Curly Top Seeds
If you love egg and cress sandwiches, grow your owncress!
Have some fun and paint a face on an empty eggshell, put damp cotton wool inside, sprinkle a few seeds on it and watch green hair grow!
- Sufficient for 5 Punnets
Sowing Indoors
Sow in a tray of seed compost or on kitchen roll or other absorbent materials. Keep the compost or kitchen roll moist and place it somewhere warm, such as a Kitchen windowsill. The cress should start growing in a few days.
Harvest
Harvest as required, when the cress is about 5cm high. Cut the stems with scissors, but take care if they are sharp.
Special note
Never eat the seeds and always wash your hands after gardening.
