Cress Seed Kit
Everything you need to grow your cress... just add water!
Cress is quick and easy to grow, and it tastes delicious in sandwiches and salads. The Unwins Cress Kit makes growing cress even easier, because everything you need to grow your cress is included in the kit.
The Kit includes a tray, growing mat and seeds

Sowing Indoors
Place the Growing Mat flat in the bottom of the tray. Water it lightly until it is completely wet, and then allow any extra water to drain.
Scatter a few cress seeds as evenly as possible over the wet growing mat. There should be enough seed in the sachet for three sowings. If you sow the seeds too thickly, they will not have room to grow properly.
Place it somewhere light and warm, such as your bedroom windowsill.
Harvest
After about a week, your cress should be between 2 and 4cm high, and will be ready for cutting. Do this carefully with the round-ended scissors. Wash the cress, and use it in sandwiches (it's particularly tasty in egg sandwiches) or add it to salads.
After you have harvested your cress, the tray can be cleaned out and used again.
Special note
Never eat seeds and always wash your hands after gardening.
