Garland Plastic Raised Bed Kit 1m x 1m
Easy to assemble, these kits give better control over soil conditions, and extra garden space.
Raised Beds are ideal for growing carrot, potato and onion crops as well as cabbage and other brassicas and delicious squashes including courgettes (zucchini) and pumpkins.
The completed raised bed kit is 1m square with a working height of 25cm. As the kits are modular two can be used together to form a double height square or a standard height large rectangle.
Using this raised bed kit, potato crops of more than 50lb have been produced from just 8 tubers and superb results have been obtained from outdoor tomatoes.
The raised bed can be used on soft ground but works equally well on hard areas such as patios, making vegetable gardening possible for all.
The Raised Bed is sufficiently compact to make it suitable for use on patios, decking or even balconies, although such users may wish to purchase the optional liner.
The unit assembles in minutes and packs flat at the end of the season for easy storage.

Special note
The benefits of 'Raised Bed Gardening' have long been established.
Raised beds drain well, warm earlier and are ideal for gardeners with otherwise poor soil or limited space.
Less able bodied gardeners also find raised beds are well suited to their needs.
With these factors in mind, we have developed our range of Grow Beds which are perfect for raising a wide variety of home grown vegetables.
Simple Assembly & Storage

The 25cm high side walls offer natural protection from pests and allow for easy weeding and targeted watering.

There is no need for heavy digging and the raised soil level means less bending when weeding and harvesting.
Bigger Crops
Grow Beds really do optimise crop yields. For example, we produced 24kg (53lbs) of potatoes from one G94 Grow Bed.
Earlier Crops
The soil in raised beds naturally warms faster than conventional ground level planting. The heat absorbing black panels of the Grow Bed further accelerate this process allowing plants to develop quicker.
